Oración: Primera Lectura del Libro del Apocalipsis 11, 19a; 12, l.3-6a. 10ab Se abrió en el cielo el Santuario de Dios: dentro del Santuario uno podía ver el Arca de la Alianza de Dios. Y apareció en el cielo una señal grandiosa: una Mujer, vestida del sol, con la luna bajo los pies y en su cabeza una corona de doce estrellas. Apareció también otra señal: un enorme Monstruo rojo como el fuego, con siete cabezas y diez cuernos. En sus cabezas lleva siete coronas, y con la cola barre un tercio de las estrellas del cielo, precipitándolas a tierra. El Monstruo se detuvo delante de la Mujer que da a luz, para devorar a su hijo en cuanto nazca. Y la Mujer dio a luz un hijo varón, que debe gobernar todas las naciones con bara de hierro. Pero el niño fue arrebatado y llevado ante Dios y ante su trono, mientras que la Mujer huía al desierto, donde tiene el refugio que Dios le ha preparado. Entonces resonó en el cielo un griterío inmenso: "Ya llegó la liberación por el poder de Dios. Reina nuestro Dios y su Cristo mando". Salmo Responsorial: El Poderoso ha hecho obras grandes por mi; su nombre, su nombre es santo, su nombre es santo. Estrofas: Proclama mi alma la grandeza del Señor, se alegra mi espíritu en Dios mi salvador. R/. Opening Prayer: First Reading: Revelation 11, 19a; 12, l.3-6a. 10ab Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant could be seen in the temple. A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head twelve stars.  Then another sign appeared in the sky; it was a huge red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads were seven diadems.  It swept away a third of the stars in the sky and hurled them down to the earth. Then the dragon stood before the woman about to give birth, to devour her child when she gave birth. She gave birth to a son, a male child, destined to rule all the nations with an iron rod.  Her child was caught up to God and his throne. The woman herself fled into the desert where she had a place prepared by God. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have salvation and power come, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Anointed."
