CZECH THIS OUT!
SAVE THE DATE! IT’S BACK! Our ever-popular St. Wenceslaus Parish Dinner will be back with a new twist! In honor of our Parish’s Czech heritage, the Altar & Rosary Society will have our parish dinner on the feast of St. Wenceslaus, or as close to it as possible! This year it will be on the feast of St. Wenceslaus which is Sunday, September 28, 2008. Keep checking back here each week in the bulletin for some fun information and history about our church and for more information on this event!
Latin Mass
Beginning Sunday, August 3, St. Wenceslaus will serve as a host parish for the Tridentine Latin Mass. This Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 PM here at St. Wenceslaus with Father Phillips and Father Appel sharing the responsibilities of presider. Please watch the bulletin for educational and informational news regarding this addition to our regularly scheduled Sunday liturgies.
Please consider using SCRIP to purchase flood recovery supplies and items for donation. We have many vendors to choose from, including: Fairway, HyVee, Walmart, Kmart, Sears, Best Buy, Ace, Lowes and Menards. Larger orders will require a “special (prepaid) purchase”. Stop by the Scrip table to learn more and pick up printed information or call Stephanie at 339-4533.
